Repeat for prescribed repetitions and sets.</p>

<p>Begin lying on floor facing up.<br />
Bend knees so feet are firmly on floor.<br />
Extend arms upward toward ceiling.<br />
Activate core muscles.<br />
Lift hips off floor to attain a bridge position with knees, hips and shoulders in alignment.<br />
Slowly return to start position.<br />
Repeat for prescribed repetitions and sets.</p>
<p>Initially, you may develop some cramping in the back of your thigh.  A simple hamstring stretch before and after may prevent this from occurring.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A very good patient and friend we&#8217;ll call HT, came to me complaining of a sore hamstring muscle that he had injured while playing soccer.  In his mid forties, HT is an avid soccer player and all around athlete.  He recognised his injury and tried resting from all physical activity for a couple of weeks.  Rest coupled with the traditional treatment of ultrasound and or muscle stimulation over a 3-4 week period is usually sufficient to remedy a moderate sprain/strain injury.  When rest alone did not work for HT I suggested we use the electroacusope to tackle the problem.  Now Ht, was a little concerned because he was playing in a major soccer tournament just one week from his first visit with me.  I told him all I needed was three treatments with the electroacuscope and he had nothing to lose and everything to gain.  Well HT made it to his tournament and played in all of his games and ended up losing to the team that won it all.  Needless to say, HT was quite pleased with the results of treating with the electroacusope. Swart, of Swart Chiropractic, Inc., in Monrovia and I have been treating some of the worlds finest jockeys for the past 17 years.  The Santa Anita race track jockey stable is arguably the best in the world.  Most of horse racings greatest jockeys, many of them Hall of Famers, have all ridden at Santa Anita at one pont in their careers.  The close proximity of  my Monrovia chiropractic office to the race track has allowed me to see many of the current and past jockeys  from Santa Anita.  This along with the fact that here at Swart Chiropractic, I have kept many of these jockeys healthy with my unique approach to chiropractic care.  My approach to care has also helped many of these fine athletes recover from old nagging injuries as well as new injuries that have sidelined or kept these athletes from competing.  If they are healthy we keep them healthy and if they are injured we get them back to racing in the shortest amount of time. My unique approach couples chiropractic care with the latest technology in physical medicine known as the electroacusope.  Although we are not all world class athletes, alot of the aches and pains and injuries that we experience in our daily lives are very similar in nature.  If you would like more information regarding my treatment approach, please call me or visit my website at Chiropractormonrovia.com.</p>
